Salida is 125 in 2005. Buena Vista, 126. Last year, Poncha Springs observed the 225th year since Spanish frontiersman Juan Bautista de Anza is believed by historians to have crossed Poncha Pass. This year, Poncha Springs will celebrate its 125th anniversary of incorporation.
While you are in the area, you are also encouraged to stop by local chamber of commerce offices, where you can get information on museums and other attractions in the area.
